Fire Expo 2008

We decided to take a little trip to the Fire Expo 2008 and visit Uncle Dave at his booth and see all the cool fire trucks. Zeke didn't like the fire trucks all that much. He is much happier watching them drive by and pointing at them and getting all excited when he hears the sirens!



But Zeke loved Smokey the bear and protecting our forests as well as the kiddie obstacle course.

LASAGNA!

Ezekiel tried lasagna for the first time. This one was made by Uncle Cyril! Zeke absolutely loved it! It was a messy one but so worth it.

Hosing off the sand!

I know Ezekiel would be very upset with us posting these pictures but I couldn't resist. After a sandy day at the beach, there is no better way to start getting clean than hosing down in the back yard. I think these pictures are priceless!

The Neal Cousins come for a visit!

We were lucky to see Colby, Jillian, Gunnar and Aunt Jodee and Uncle Stephen at the end of June and then again at the beginning of July. We had a great time going to the beach and to the park. We wished they lived a lot closer! We hope we can go visit them back east in the fall or winter. Click on the slideshow to see all the pictures!

July 4, 2008

July 4th was a very eventful day for us. We sent dad off to work for 13 hours early in the morning! We went with mom-mom and pop-pop and Cioci Sheila to the Lake San Marcos July 4th celebration where we sang patriotic songs and ate some hot dogs! Here are a few pictures.





Then we went to Cioci Sheila and Uncle Joe's for swimming and barbecue time. Zeke was pretty tuckered out by the end of the day and didn't really want to pose in his second out fit of the day. But he sure did enjoy his patriotic cookies!
